Robyn Marie Aichinger

What is your current role?

“I’m a Senior Specialist Consultant covering Radiology across the UK and Ireland – I primarily work with Consultants to find their perfect placement suiting their personal requirements.”

What is the best thing about working here?

“Charterhouse core values are very unique to the ‘norm’ of the current recruitment market – the company prides itself on ability to recognise talent on a personal level (not only with internal staff, but with candidates too) placing people at the heart of their business.  It excites me to be part of a brand that flourishes due to an honest and professional reputation, Charterhouse is a brand that believes in my candidates as much as I do."

If you reflect on your time with Charterhouse, what have you had the opportunity to learn?

“Charterhouse has taught me that being myself is the key to my own success but to open my mind to situations and ideas that would put me out of my comfort zone. I relocated to Milton Keynes to be part of the team bringing Charterhouse Medical to the UK - with my previous appointment being a manager within Driving Recruitment, learning the Medical Recruitment industry has been my biggest learning curve. I have thoroughly enjoyed my adventure so far and with recruitment being an ever-evolving industry, you will never cease to learn new things every day.”

What’s your team like?

“The team here breathes life to recruitment – we all support each other to ensure that no recruiter gets ‘left-behind’. We all enjoy each other’s company which is refreshing when working in a team environment .”

What support do you receive to enable you to be better at your role?

“We have excellent recruiters here with years of experience – having an excellent management team alongside a great group of dedicated people really offers the best possible support.”

How would you describe the culture here?

“Excellent, very motivating with work life balance. There are great incentives and employee perks offered by Charterhouse – I feel very looked after.”

What is it about recruitment that you love?

“Years ago, I really did ‘fall into recruitment’, it wasn’t planned at all – but I am so glad I did. I find the industry very rewarding, being awarded with gratitude for changing someone’s life is the best possible feeling. It is the reason why I come to work every day. Recruitment really isn’t just a job, it is a way of life.”

What gets you up each and every morning and on the way to work?

“The relationships I build with my candidates and clients, I am very ‘customer-service’ focussed and love finding the ultimate solution. Of course, my children give me a lot of motivation to be as successful as possible within my career.”

If you could sum up the UK office in a sentence . . . ?

“A vibrant team, full of knowledge, fun and motivation. We are very much a growing family here.”

What would be the one piece of advice you would give someone starting at Charterhouse?

“Take on board as much advice as possible, ask for help should you require it. Open your mind - approach every opportunity with tenacity and heart, rise to every challenge you face.”

If you’ve worked with other recruitment firms, what does Charterhouse do better than anyone else?

“Charterhouse offers transparency and autonomy. Not only do you have the ability to own your speciality with no limits, you are rewarded whole-heartedly with no hidden deductions!”
